KrnXGaming
It would be cool to have a counter automation. Maybe a + - button or a pass through checkpoint that keeps counts on the direction you choose.
Sasza22
Something more reliable than a weight plate would be nice. As for now a counter is doable with automation but pretty complicated to construct and weight plates won`t recognize 2 dupes walking by if they are next to each other. Vincie
Ayep, we need a counter. Even Rust has one. It is counting high states and sends a signal when reaching a given number. That could be a 2x2 tile - D input, R reset, Q output and a numeric display from 0 to 9. My old idea was a 8x3block with binary, 8-bit output, but that would be too big. This would be a nice thing to make the counting automation smaller. But we could still use something like a checkpoint gate that counts dupes passing through it in a reliable way. Actually it needs to be one building to be reliable. A simple binary signal won`t do if dupes are walking too close to each other. The checkpoint needs to add 1 for each dupe passing one way and remove 1 for each going back. An automation signal would be sent like for temperature sensors, above a certain number.
