There should be a dupliant training machine

It would be helpful for when you take new duplicants after a ton of cycles. It seems like they're just too slow to be worth the food and oxygen they require to stay alive. The trade off is it would take quite a lot of energy and you could only train 1 skill at a time (for example athletics.) Also, there should be a skill cap. Perhaps 10, or half of the highest level associated skill in the colony. Also another obvious drawback is that the duplicants can not do anything while they're in the training machine. Thoughts?

For the athletic skill, you already have a training machine : the manual generator.

So you can force your duplicant to use one of those, not linked with a power line, until het get enough athelic skill to run fast.

 

But your right. create a duplicant on late game is not very interesting.

More than a training room, maybe the printing pod should add a set value to the skills of the new duplicants, according to the average value of the colony. ;)
