Hatches and dreckos actually bite when you attack them. When you stop you get the "+forgiveness" meaning it`s no longer agressive. Hatches used to be agressive when unburrowed by dupes but they no longer are. Shinebugs don`t fight but for some reason they also send the forgiveness message it seems.
