I harvested those blooming tubers (day 26) and I cooked them on fire and ate them and I got that sanity poison, its that greeny image all over the screen and have an hiccups that drop items. I feel like klei are passively protesting against weed legalization hahaha with this type of poison. Problem is, I don't know how to get rid off that thing, its not gonna kill me since I am experienced player but I don't wanna farm nightmare fuel, I already got 30. I tried to use the normal anti poison from the shop and it didn't worked out. I can't farm spiders either since they are all gone (I think its the season) to get a top hat building my sanity back and I haven't seen anywhere selling silk, webber needs his own shop with blackjack and hookers btw, so I feel stuck killing nightmare creatures and not starving. RazingHel Posted October 25, 2018 Share Posted October 25, 2018 You got hay fever because the season changed to lush on around day 24, also those aren’t hiccups, your character is sneezing. You can fix this easily by crafting the gas mask and briefly equipping it each time you see the hay fever building up onscreen. So on wiki doesn't say but its gone when Lush season ends? no way I can make a gas mask, I have not a single material for it. metallichydra Posted October 25, 2018 Share Posted October 25, 2018 if you got needles, you can either eat them, or make needle roll and eat that, to prevent hay fever for some time needles only bloom in humid season, or if you transplanted and fertilized them, and placed a sprinkler nearby (must be near water). I think you was poisoned by tuber and got hay fever before you found the antidote. Then you cured the poison but not fever. They share same screen visual effect. If you can't craft gas mask, you can use Seed Pods (raw or cooked) Nettle or Nettle Rolls for temporarily remove fever. Nope I played SW and I got poisoned once by frog legs, its not the same animation it was just a coincidence and got me confused. I don't know how newbies will enjoy this game hahaha.
