Cryptomancer
I love automation and use it a lot. However, one thing I find myself needing is some alarm to go off when a condition is detected. My suggestion is for a device like the other automation sensors (1x1, small amount of refined metal, maybe no power requirement), except it only has an automation input for active/inactive. It should have a settings UI just to give the alarm a name, defaulting to "Alarm 1", "Alarm 2", etc. When active, it puts a red notification and sfx like "starving" or "suffocating". If the alarm goes disabled, the notification changes to grey like "Job Mastered" or "Research Complete" and then it can be clicked away or ignored and left there. This is to help notice intermittent conditions. If it becomes active again, the notification turns red again and can't be clicked away. JoelleEmmily
+1 to this idea... but I'd rather a sound, like maybe an old bell style alarm clock... OR OR OR! AN AIR RAID SIREN! Activated by simple automation signals. A checkbox in each type of sensors should be better than a special device, in my opinion.
