Critter/plant loading mechanics?

ah, guessed as much. Im having the shove vol error where the game crashes when they lay eggs. Someone else suggested to go into debug mode and delete them to avoid the crash. Since the update is near i'll probably just wait xD. I dont want to activate everything on the map yet

The only exception is hatches that are found with the "buried object" tiles. They are completely inactive until the tile is dug, and what the tile contains is randomized on world generation, but will always be the same afterwards. If you know a buried object contains a hatch, you can load back a save before you dug the tile and it'll stay put.
