That is quite dumb of me.

I am talking about robotics again.

(-ω\) *face slam

 

But anyway, they are cool (at least). Also they are useful especially in unfavourable enviornments.

 

All robotic stuff required research ‘basic robotics’ to unlock. 

 

1. Robot Engineer

A new occuation from the engineer branch. Promoted from normal engineer.

This dude specialises everything related to robot from programming to manufacturing with all regular management and maintenance of the robot system.

Operates:

Robot assembler

Bot command

 

2. Robot assember

It can manufacture robots, but what you need are not just refined metals but also a robot engineer. Consumes 400W power during manufacturing process.

 

3. Bot command

You must have this before your robots can be in use.

This not just help you monitor robots but also unlocks a interface ‘Robots’ for managing your robot working networks.

Manages 20 deploy spots at maximum.

 

4. Deploy post

Spot for deploying robots, requires bot command wirelessly connected and within its management ability.

Robots will work within the wireless range of the deploy spot. diameter 9 blocks. Linking them together merges multiple networks into one.

Maximum workload for managing 5 robots.

 

5. Recharging station

Your mobile robots don’t have wires attached to your power system. So you must have a recharging station for them.

One robot each time.

100w power flow.

 

6. Robots

Finally the most important part - Robots.

To save time I will briefly introduce them.

Logistic robot take the design from shinebugs, so it can roam everywhere, except underwater. Pickup and transports items and grounded robots (that need to reach higher/lower floors)

Mining robot take the design from hatches (I mean the legs only). Very good for cleaning up messes of meteor showers, but its digging efficiency is lower than duplicants’ mining cannons.

Builder robot. Won’t need me to explain? Fits for constructions and repairs in dangerous locations.

Farm robots do everything from seeding to fertilizing and finally harvesting your corps.

Submarine bots are for operations inside liquid (once it is not inside liquid it’ll shut down but battery reserved). Can do digging, transporting and building. Probably useful if there is aquatic update.
