This is notated with "mcg": However, the correct SI unit symbol for microgram is "µg". Unicode actually supplies a MICRO SIGN (U+00B5) that is distinct from GREEK SMALL LETTER MU, so that'd really be the way to go. crypticorb Posted October 8, 2018 Share Posted October 8, 2018 This bothered me a few times as well, though it's technically not incorrect. When the greek "mu" symbol "μ" is not available, "mc" is an acceptable alternative prefix for micro. The more common form is still a normal letter "u" substituted for "μ", and I occasionally notice this, but it's very minor. If it really bothers you, make a bug report here, and give some good details, picture examples, and your thoughts.
