NotenKi
It is as bogus at it has always been. In this screen shot the 2 tiles under the toilet and the toilet are all set to 9. but they are all refusing to do it, to the point of pee'ing their pants, after which I let them head out to do the what tiles all set to 5 as soon as they were deleted they immediately finished the prior work.. all that was needed was to build them they filled them all in and left it;..So the game could have them peeing all over the place. but I nipped that in the butt.. and they all pee'd in the bathroom.. i've been on this kick since nearly the start of the game.. so I'm not bugging it just suggesting it.. it is very uncouth.https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1526555907 Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/95983-this-is-a-suggestion-that-you-fix-priority-now/ Share on other sites
Sasza22
This is weird. Do you have unconstructive dupes by any chance? Or maybe you changed their personal priorities. It`s always good to have one dupe with high priority in build early on so that everything is done as soon as the materials are delivered. Tekky
In a build from one or two months ago, it once happend to me that dupes were not building something, despite it being on highest priority. Saving and then reloading the game solved the issue for me. Since then, I don't recall every encountering such an issue again. Are you sure that you had sufficient contruction materials available? Maybe you set them to be of a contruction material that you didn't have in sufficient quantity. Do you have or can you provide a savegame of this issue? Lali-Lop
Even if it's set to priority 9, they'll still prefer to do other tasks if Build is not their top priority. If the bathroom has a door, you can lock them in there to guarantee they build it. I often have to do this to force them to empty the outhouses...They hate it. Tekky
Yes, the priority setting of the individual building tasks is actually called "sub-priority" for a reason. The primary priority setting is that of the individual dupes, not the individual tasks. As far as I know, the sub-priority setting only has an influence when the primary priority setting is identical.
