Pipes and intake and output holes

Recommended Posts

1. Intake end for liquid pipes

2. intake hole for liquid pump and pump can work outside liquid, with in- and out-  pipes

3. use gas output end, as input end for gas pipes (or make different )

4. intake hole for gas pump, for connect to pipes

5 output hole for dirt water in Gas-Generator, for connect to pipes

6 (maybe) output hole in Bottle Emptier, for connect to pipes

I'm not entirely certain, but I think you are suggesting having inlets for pipes that just take in water to a pipe without a pump.

The problem with this idea is that the pipes are pressurized.  It should take work (thus power) to put the liquid or gas in to the pipe.  That is the reasoning for being able to move gas from a lower pressure to a higher pressure.

But they are functionally gas and liquid teleporters.   Having inputs that don't take power would make liquid and gas teleportation free, which is not desirable.

It's the same reason we don't have hydro power and that they made steam power so hard to use.

It won`t work with the currnet pumps. But i sugeested a new pump type before that would have an intake outside the pump itself. This way the pump wouldn`t interact with the liquid it`s pumping (too much) and would allow for pumping of really hot stuff.
