Craigjw
When there is liquid in a pipe, the Liquid Pipe Thermo Sensor works fine, however as soon as there is no liquid in the pipe, the sensor shows the Current Temperature as -273.2 C and does not obey the conditions. What ever temperature is set and what ever condition either Above or Below the temperature that is set, the sensor always outputs an Active signal. I can understand that the sensor would default to -273 C, however I feel that the current behaviour when there is no liquid makes it just plain awkward to use. Azunai333
That is not entirely true. The shown temperature and the active/inactive behavior are two separate things. The liquid temp sensor will show the temperature of the liquid inside the pipe. Is no liquid present the sensor will show 0K/-273.15 °C. The sensor will become active/inactive depending on your configuration if liquid is present. But Klei changed the following behavior: If there is no liquid present, the sensor will remember the last active/inactive state until some liquid passes it again. Before this change the sensor sensed 0K/-273.15 °C if the pipe was empty and the output signal had used this value.
