Sub-priority by job type

Recommended Posts

I was building the plumbing for my bathroom setup and I realized I wanted it on priority 6 instead of 5.  I went to press 'p', but then that would change the priorities on the outhouses, which I can't keep working unless they are at least 7.  This isn't the only time something like this has happened.

I think it would be good if we could have controls on which sub-priorities we were changing, similar to the cancel and deconstruct controls

You can if you cancel the piping job and when selecting the pipes to build; look at the bottom left for the priority ranking before placing your first one.

It is not as smooth as having the same Tool Filter that is available with with Cancel "C" or Deconstruct "X"  But it is a work around.  Will like the original post as I would like the Tool Filter for setting priorities as well.

The piping was complicated.  I don't want to do that again.  Plus, changing that priority makes it stay that way.  In any case, there are many other situations where this is a problem, that situation was just an example I remember.  Mopping, plumbing, deconstructing pipes and wires, etc.

I did manage to upgrade my bathroom without incident.
