Steve Raptor
Greetings, One of the major problems when building stuff in space is the sometimes gazillion amount of regloith laying around, which needs to be cleared from the construction site. Sometimes there is so much of it that attempting to clear it by normal means will take so much time and effort, than by the time your done ONI Together will enter early access. Instead, you can physically move the regloith to a different location (short range) with some micromanagement. Step 1: Locate the site you want to clear from relogith and build a small pit, or a place to dispose of it. In the picture below, this is the small pit to the left. Step 2: Build 2 tiles in a triangle fashion, as seen in the picture below: Step 3: Once both tiles are built, fill the triangle with a 3rd tile: Once you do that, all the debris in that tile will be forced to move, in our case, to the left. Step 4: Deconstruct the old tile and repeat the process, use the existing bottom tile (the last one you placed) as the basic of a new triangle. Repeat those steps until you clear all the regloith. To save some time, you can use priorities to get the process done faster. End Result: And Voila! No regolith! in what could probably take you 3435320413 cycles to achieve, it can be done in in 3-4 cycles or less! While this is a bit micro intensive, I don't know any other way to deal with 3000t+ regolith laying around my construction zone, so this works for now. Hope you find that useful. Albryant
If you have the power to spare you could probably set up a mechanical airlock conveyor system. I think Brothgar did something like that in one of his vids. Gurgel
Good idea. Rather obvious, but I somehow did not see it. Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/95169-tip-how-to-move-insane-amount-of-regolith/#findComment-1081067 Share on other sites

If you have an airlock close with no room above it (read: tile or closed airlock) but room to the side, any item in it when it closes will be moved to the side. So if you have a two-high hallway filled with airlocks and you close them one at a time you'll move items along it.
