greggbert
I created an abysylite room abysylite tiles not insulated 9x9 with three wheezworts near the top mounted on 3 granite tiles with 3 granite pots. The only thing in the room is granite ladders, 3 granite tiles and a locked door at the bottom, and a high pressure vent and the 3 wheezeworts Under the door the air is about 30 degrees C all around the room the air is about 30 degrees c I filled the room with hydrogen completely at high pressure. So empty 9x9 room filled with 2K pressure hydrogen and 3 wheezworts. I expected the room to cool down fairly quickly (within a cycle) to at most 0 degrees c but instead it started going down from 30 about HALF A DEGREE PER CYCLE and stopped at round 22 degrees. Does that sound right? What do you think could be preventing the temperature from continuing to drop? Carnis
The granite tiles are letting The cold spread out. Screenshots would help. Granite pots have high heat capacity, sedimentary rock is better for pots, traps less cold/heat. greggbert
I'll see if I can find the old save, but seriously I let this thing alone for about 50 cycles and it won't drop below 22. There can't be that much heat stored in the granite.... Every type is made of metal and conducts heat pretty well. I`m pretty sure you mean airlock but in case it was a regular door it would just let the gas out. Sasza22
Try getting rid of the airlock and just seal off the room. It should make it cool down.
