felix920506
Electrolyzers should have a negative heat output as electrolyzing water absorbs heat. It would also be easier to manage the heat in the base. In some cases, for instance, in the electrolysis of steam into hydrogen and oxygen at high temperature, the opposite is true and heat energy is absorbed. This heat is absorbed from the surroundings, and the heating value of the produced hydrogen is higher than the electric input. From this wikipedia page:https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electrolysis When you talk about the HTSE, then are you aware about the temperatures/materials needed for that process? In ONI you could feed 90° hot water into your electrolyzer, there is your "cooling effect" Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/94423-electrolyzers-should-absorb-heat/#findComment-1072982 Share on other sites
he77789
yeah that is a intended feature. Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/94423-electrolyzers-should-absorb-heat/#findComment-1072993 Share on other sites
