I long ago found the direction of the game was going was not suiting me so I found the depot for the Automation Update, which in my opinion is one of the last truly good updates made, on Steam. And then blocked Steam from ever updating my game. However, recently someone asked me how to find the old versions on Steam, and to my surprise Klei seems to have removed them so now you're forced to play the latest update or don't play at all. Maybe they don't want us to make side-by-side comparisons between different versions? In any case. If someone know how to find and install older updates, legitimately that is, I'd very much like to know. I enjoy playing the game once in a while still with Automation Upgrade. I would not wish for my worst enemy to play the current version of the game however.
