I Don't Know If This Is just Me Or Other People Are Going Through the Same Bug. I think the new achievements brought people back and the surge of activity is putting a lot of stress on them. I'm sure it'll be sorted out soon. Thankfully the event was extended until the 19th, so we should have plenty of time to get the new achievements.
