Meteor Scanner Warning

What's the point of adding additional scanners to a meteor detector network to increase the warning time? Would the purpose be to add some buffer logic so that the bunker doors close just before the meteor storm?

Additionally, how long do bunker doors take to close?

With 100% (never been there myself) it is accurate 200s, so we can use buffer logic like you already guessed.

I wonder how many solar panels you need for delayed door closing to outweigh the constant sensor tower power needs... I think it'd be a lot. I have two 100% sensor towers running, which will give me at least enough notice to close the doors. That's good enough for me.
