WanderingKid
New game, Cosmic settings. Defaults for me are 30% Master, 100 SFX, 0 Music, 100 Ambience, 100 UI. No morning tunes, always play automation. I can't hear most of the game anymore without cranking (roughly 45% to now 70%+) past the halfway dial on my Focusrite 2i2 feed. I hear the crickets on the higher tones more than anything, and that's mid day when I zoom in. I'm pretty sure it's not my local crickets but I can't promise nuttin'. My noisy accordion coal pumps aren't noisy. My loud diggers are suddenly polite. I can't hear much of anything else without working at it... Did you play with the decibel settings, or did I bend up my gear? Specifically: The 'chirp chirp chirp' bird you can hear on pause. That bird is specifically becoming annoying. It's a 0.8(ish?) second chirp that never. Ever.. EVER... DIES.... I want to hatch it to EAT IT. ALL OF THEM... …. … *ahem* pardon. That bird's particular high pitched tone when it appears is irregular for the rest of the sounds I'm familiar with and it is particularly enthusiastic of my notice.
