Power system is just a chore

Recommended Posts

Sort of make you wonder what's the point of having heavy watt wire and hyper conductive wires then, tho. Some slight rebalancing of power ystemswould be nice would be nice. Maybe jusst some smaller transsformers or fuse boxe as someone mde a tread about earlier would be nice.

AS they said, sub grids, split your power up. I tend to keep everything on 3 coal generators early on. Have each generator go to 2 - 3 things. Then when I got conductive wiring I would connect 3 generators together in a group and have 2 or 3 groups around depending what I needed them for.

Then came my natural gas power plant. which has a transformer for each for floor of my base.

When you have a generator setup with more Generators in one grid / without transformers, connect everything with thick wire.
Same case, with a transformer behind generator - thick wire and then thin wire, you could connect up to 1Kw on each transformerline.
Heavy conductive is same, but conductive.
For me, i see no need to rebalance power. Very easy to handle, when you understand it.
There are a dazillion threads about that, search for it.

Transformer consumes 5kW power
