Mariilyn Posted May 5, 2018 Share Posted May 5, 2018 It makes no sense to require complete room separation for greenhouses and stables because it restrains creativity when designing mixed farming-breeding systems, especially with the new critter additions. Possible solutions could be to : - allow the construction of a ranching station in the greenhouse. The presence of small animals is not incompatible with greenhouse usage. - merge these two room into a general farming room type which maybe can be further sub-specialized (into a greenhouse, stable, aquaponic farm, etc). - create a new hybrid-type room when requirement of both greenhouse and stable are met. In any case the goal is to allow the cohabitation of domesticated critters and plants in the same room. The downside could be that ranchers and farmers take more time to tend and groom the animals and plants in a mixed system.
