I just came across this just now. Ive made hundred world by now and this s my first time. Is this normal? lol. So strange and how come it dosent let me go through it

That's normal. It's a fairly rare set piece so you don't see it very often. If you want to get past those obelisks though you'll need to be insane for them to lower.

To add onto this, you can use this set piece to trap otherwise hard-to-contain mobs such as Vargs for farming purposes.
