Alfons100
Simple suggestion which would improve the early-game deployment of critters without the need of lategame tech because as of now we need to awkwardly get an egg, and place it where it needs to be with an Incubator/Foodstorage box. This would improve the applications of say, Shinebugs. Rise them in a Stable, and then when they're babies, you put them in the place they should be. Super basic, but would allow early game ranching to be-oh-so-much-more flexiblle, but researches like Animal transportation will still help because you can transport adult animals. crypticorb
This would also be fantastic for long-haired slicksters, as they are only really useful in the home base, outside of ranches. It's almost not worth the effort to keep them around when they cost so much plastic to move, or waiting for an egg. It's also a massive pain to get the squeaky and dense pufts where they are needed, as the only current method of getting them to an oxygen or chlorine source is with egg transportation, pumping it into the ranch, or exposing your chlorine geyser to the open air and use lures. scientas
They could use the "move to" mechanic where if you click on a tamed critter it would create a job to move them to the new location. A rancher would be required and would walk to the space beside the critter and start whistling like they do on the grooming station. They would walk to the new location, still whistling, while the animal followed the same path.
