TheDeadDude Posted April 27, 2018 Share Posted April 27, 2018 Never had this problem before, Now when i host a game with caves i cannot join a server i hosted that has caves added. The world generation takes at least 5-10 mins to load and i had all mods turned off client and server side, reinstalled the game and i still cannot host/join a game i make with caves. However i can join a game hosted by someone else or a dedicated server with 0 problems. Instead i get this frozen screen with my character standing in the portal. I really would like to be able to host a private game with caves so i can play alone or with friends. Also if this is the wrong topic please move it and tell me which one to post in the future? I'm making do with out but i really would like to be able to host so i can play alone in my own modded server. At this rate i cannot even play a game with caves all alone because the game freezes when i enter the world like in the image posted above. At this rate i cannot even play a game with caves all alone because the game freezes when i enter the world like in the image posted above. from what i can tell you have disabled all of the mods you are subscribed to, but you haven't uninstalled them. and playing without the caves is really boring; you might want to try uninstalling them from your system. i'm not sure this will 100% work but it has got to be worth a try. I no longer need help getting caves to work. Apparently after i updated my graphics card and reinstalled game again things started to work again. Devs feel free to close topic.
