  1. Funny enough, the latest patch supposedly fixed the potential out of memory issue on world load. I just bought the DLC recently, and I can't even start playing, since I get the out of memory error every time I try to create a Hamlet world.
  2. Could you please specify, how exactly it was "fixed"? I had this quest just today. Beat the Boarior as Wendy, then lost on the Rhinos and didn't complete the quest. What else was i supposed to do?
  3. Hey, Starphire. Thanks for replying. Do you suggest playing without sound? Did it help you in any way? I don't think the issue is cause by sound, but rather the sound stuttering (as well as image lagging) is just the most noticeable sign of the crash. I may try to follow your advice, but then again playing without sound isn't really worth it for me. Thanks anyway. Looking forward for a developer to respond.
  4. Looking at the bug tracker, it seems like incompleteable quests have become a common issue now. I had the same quest and I couldn't complete it, despite having met the requirements (see screenshots). Btw, didn't have to ask anyone to let me get the card – people I was playing with were... let's just say, underperforming.
  5. At this point in time it's getting a bit old. Given how hard it is to find a lobby with adequate players who know what they're doing, having a potential win be taken away from you due to a crash is not really all that enjoyable. Thank you for at least letting us rejoin the game we've just been in, and placing it at the top of the list. That's a decent crutch, I'll give you that. But can you please fix it already? I don't recall having this issue last year, everything worked fine. The three client logs I'm attaching were made in one night, for crying out loud. Doesn't matter what I'm doing – regularly hitting mobs, using special attacks, or just writing in chat – the game just snaps at some point, the last bit of sound starts stuttering and then I get thrown out to desktop. I really, really hope you finally fix this. Thank you.
  6. Before I only experienced this problem when trying to connect to or invite my friends through the Steam overlay. Now, I experience it even when trying to join a server from the list. I tend to think you should have left it the way it was, than "fix" it in such a way. Big bummer.
  7. Your current saveindex file (Documents\Klei\DoNotStarveTogether\client_save) doesn't see any occupied clusters. So if you just copy a game save (e.g., Cluster_1) from a save backup folder to your game saves folder (Documents\Klei\DoNotStarveTogether\), the saveindex file won't see it. What you need to do is occupy a cluster in game, i.e. create a world in the respective cluster. Then exit the game and replace the newly created save folder with the one you had previously. To avoid any possible issues I would suggest deleting the world you just created first, and then pasting the old one. In the future I would suggest backing up the saveindex file as well, or the whole 'client_save' folder for that matter. Hope it helps.
  8. Question: How does one rejoin the server they just lost connection to? I remember reading in one of the update notes that it became an option at the time, but I didn't see such an option when browsing the servers. I tried to toggle "previously visited" on, and the menu showed 0 results out of 300+. I then typed the name of the lobby as I remembered it, and the menu showed one lobby that had 3 out of 3 players (including myself, apparently). Loading the list of players didn't succeed, trying to join the game gave an error message "server not responding". Shortly after that the lobby stopped showing up altogether, although, to my estimation, the game shouldn't have ended by then yet. So the question stands: how do you rejoin a server after losing connection to it? Is there a quicker and more straightforward way than the one described above?
  9. @JanH Hey, thanks for the reply. Sorry, I only noticed it just now. I provided the files you requested. Hopefully it'll help fix the issue. Huh, that's pretty weird. But thanks, I'll try that. server_log - Master.txt server_log - Caves.txt
  10. Sliders give 12 coins as Snack, but only 9 as Bread, and even less as Meat – 6, if I recall correctly. We got screwed over by the Cream of Mushrooms trying to beat it in 7 meals or less. Apparently, it only gives a favor when sacrificed as Soup (plated, of course), but as Vegetable or Snack it only gives a Red Mark. Not sure if we tried it as Cheese. But anyway, the recipe book is misleading. If some meals give different reward depending on the craving, it should be specified.
  11. "70 shades of wet goop", the new culinary best seller.
  12. I have a similar issue. As far as suggestions go, mine would be to wait for the end of Gorge. Perhaps, some things are set to work differently in favor of the event, but they currently break the vanilla game. I suppose, if the devs don't provide a fix by then, when the event is over everything should be reverted to the way it was.
  13. I can't resume a previously generated local world (900 days) with caves. The game is just stuck on the generating screen, so far that it freezes/unfreezes several times (freezing can be seen by lack of animation), then it kinda transitions to "connecting to world" (after a solid 5 minutes), but after that it freezes for good. Pressing Ctrl+Alt+Del summons the menu, but after choosing the Task Manager, it's back to an infinite black screen. The only way to end this eternal limbo is to manually switch off the PC. After rebooting, I tried to resume that world once again – the results were identical. I guess, it might have something to do with the current updates for the Gorge. I am able to resume a caveless testing world, though. So I guess, caves are the issue?
  14. A developer has replied to an identical report. I suggest looking for identical issues on the BugTracker before posting your own report. But, I guess, it's not gonna happen.
  15. Hi. Any updates? I seem to have the same issue. https://forums.kleientertainment.com/klei-bug-tracker/dont-starve-together/cannot-access-caves-out-of-memory-r8146/
