producer123 Posted April 12, 2018 Share Posted April 12, 2018 I have a steam turbine set to be built and i've waited seemingly forever but none of my dupes are building it. It sits there saying "Awaiting specialist". I have plastic and When I hover over those words it says it only needs an electrical engineer which I have several yet nobody has come to build it, even though they have already built everything AROUND it AND there are no other builds queued up anywhere on the map. Jigsawn Posted April 12, 2018 Share Posted April 12, 2018 PhailRaptor's suggestion is the most likely problem, whoever can build it probably has higher priorities away from Build. Also if you haven't already try bumping up the steam turbine's subpriority number. Do you also have enough refined metal to build it? Can your dupes actually get to it? Maybe you have a ladder 1 tile out of reach, or a 2 tile gap they can't cross to get there. Also check your door permissions, maybe you cut off dupe access to a critical path on the way there.
