pipe bridges insulated?

Recommended Posts

I cant recall for sure, but I my memory tells me awhile back there was a 2nd bridge that was insulated.

Am I wrong about that? Or did they remove it?

In either case, is the current one only avail insulated?

Does the material used on a bridge matter or is it just the material on the 2 pipe ends?

I never known 2 types but I have only been playing since Outbreak.  I always make them out of abyssalite if I want them insulated

ahh, i just got back into the game a few months ago.

I took a break waiting for a few major updates cause i felt I played the content to death.

had over 400 hours logged back before the doors were all able to have custom settings, I think the newest feature I saw before taking a break was they made the mech doors customize able rights but ONLY when powered, now powering them feels so POINTLESS cause they draw power 24/7 even when not being opened or closed.  Just for an un noticeable to the human eye speed boost?  LOL.  Dont want this topic changing focus, just am commenting on the newest feature I had seen before taking a break.  They also still had the water farm tile back then as well, so yea, when i got back, it felt like my 400 hours played was cranked back to 0 on the learning curve aspect.

@MythN7 bridges for pipes do not ever actively hold a packet of a gas or liquid they teleport The the packets that enter to the exit.

this makes the material you build them of pointless as they do not transfer temperature.

ok, wasent sure since i had a few in a 60C area heat up to 100+ somehow and show broken flag.
