Neotuck Posted March 9, 2018 Share Posted March 9, 2018 that's not how the priority system works with priority 6 storage and 4 distiller means that a dupe will fill the storage with slime first and once that is done fill the distiller, if there is no loose slime on the ground then the dupe takes from storage regardless of what priority the storage is set to 3 minutes ago, PhailRaptor said: ...why would they not? Doesn't quite work that way. Calls for Slime to the Mushrooms would be taken before doing other tasks, but that doesn't prevent the Distiller from calling for Slime as well. Deliveries to the Distiller would simply be more sporadic based on what tasks are available to the Dupes at that time -- if things are busy and everyone has tasks of a higher priority than the Distiller, it will sit and wait. Probably what you'd need to do is use a Smart Compactor to send a logic signal to shut off the Distiller. Need multiple Smart Compactors to store how much you want to store? Wire them through And gates.
