Aqua Snorkeling Outfit

Could you add a suit similar to the exo, but lower in the research chain to build.  But the differences would be as such:

-acts like the other 2 outfits, no oxygen tank or power needed.

-in water movement would be just like the fireman's pole but flipped, so you can swim down really slow, but up really fast.

-when no more than 2 tiles below oxygen tile you can breath threw your snorkel.

-provides protection from getting the wet debuff

-you move slow out of water cause of the flippers

Nice concept, an earlier means of avoiding wet de-buffs would be nice, and a means for dups to actually swim in water rather then just walk on the bottom would be very helpful too.  I would like to use a checkpoint system on it, though it would not need the electrical and oxygen feeds it dose let us make sure that folks are suited before they jump in and get wet.  The depth limit to snorkel should be ok so long as the Dups AI is smart enough to swim at that level and do any work they can reach from that point, only diving deeper as needed and returning to snorkel depth to breath.

what i had in mind was more the dups when swimming cant do any tasks. they would have to have there feet planted to do anything, so the depth limit for breathing would work. the idea was just more of a way to make sense of a diving suit, and then an obvious draw back when not in water.

I'd very much like to see them do some work without feet planted on the ground, see my Jet pack thread in which I'm looking for the same thing, I was thinking the snorkel/flipper suit would be the equivalent of 'hovering' in water allowing far more efficient work without all the ladders or the danger of drowning.

true, but quite often I end up with a long streatch of 2 tile deep water, and it puts the un reachable flag even though they can get there on the other side, cause i have ladders or something.  so I have to build a string of tiles or ladders just to make the AI go over there, cause when I manually move them, they just run back to the entry side of the water run to do what ever it was they were trying to do.

not the best of ideas for the suit for sure, just thought of it cause logically it makes sense that they would float if your wearing a huge bubble balloon around your head. LOL
