Reduced flow of Auto Shut Off valves?

Recommended Posts

I've noticed since the occupational update that my oil/petrol cooling system has a flow rate issue. I use two Liquid Auto shutoff valves conjoined by opposing sides of a NOT gate. One is always active and either ships the oil/petrol to the Aquatuners or ships the coolant to the bypass path to always keep coolant flowing, but not always actively cooling. Since the most recent update, the pump pushing to these valves always says pipe is blocked and operates at reduce efficiency. Before the update, they pushed at a full 10kg/s without issue. In the screen shots below, I have the two valves on opposing sides of the pump, after a T juncture.  In previous attempts to set this up, I have had them on the same side of the pump in parallel with each other.  It had no change in effect.

In my world before installing the update, the setup had both valves on the same side of the pump and had no issues.  After installing the update and reloading that world was when I first started noticing the issue.  I've since started new maps and continued to see this issue.

Yeah. Something happened to pipe flows in the occupational upgrade. They're not performing like before. The solution to your problem is to not use shut off valves at all but use the bridge bypass method instead and let the aquatuners themselves act as shuts off valves.

The bridge bypass method?  And I guess you mean to hook the thermostat up to the aquatuners instead?
