MythN7
It would rock if sweepers treated all stuff they suck up as if it has the sweep status. This way you can make storage sweep only, and the dups will not go and fill them when setting high priority's to manage multiple sweepers in an area. Or maybe even just add another toggle as sweeper device only. I know other things have a allow manual box, but not sure what this does, as the obvious is not what happens unless its bugged. Cause dups still use the ones not ticked as allow manual. And just to add a 2nd suggestion here since its about the sweepers, Could you make it so they can suck stuff right out of the conveyors without the drop box? That drop box would make more sense if it filled any storage it was attached to. Or just acted like the end of the line type node. Kasuha
Or maybe the receptacle/loader permissions can be added to compactors too, i.e. whether they can be filled by duplicants, and whether they can be emptied by duplicants.Because putting the compactor out of reach may be inconvenient even if it is possible. In my experience that setting works as expected - dupes will not deposit/remove material to/from buildings that are set to not allow manual operation. So a) if there is a bug it should be fixed, and b) I agree that it would be great to have that setting added to every current and future building with any type of dupe-accessible storage. I don't want dupes filling my coal generators either when I have a sweeper to do that. Ya, with the addition of automation, the simplest tick box would be on any storage as having 2 boxes, automation in only and automation out only. This way you can control if the dups are allowed to take or put separate. Like having sweepers fill boxes and dups use stuff from them. Ceribus
I would prefer being able to set sweep zones, where any loose material in the zone is automatically marked with a sweep command, you set a priority to that zone and that is the priority level of the sweep command Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/88126-sweepers-treat-debris-as-always-marked-for-sweeping/#findComment-1010105 Share on other sites
