STAIRS!! -- diagonal movement is clunky currently, with whole-tile increments. Plus these would be cheap.

Smart(?) electrolyzer! -- Has gas output, choose which gas goes in (other is expelled normally)!

Algae dexoydation port (names need work)! -- Exactly the same as algae deoxydizer, but outputs directly into pipes! Real easy to do and no more damage to suit docks! Also more eco-friendly in terms of power usage

Farmable algae! -- they're mostly plant-like after all.

Mini steam turbine! -- built on geysers, only works on geysers.

On-line storage/buffer volume for liquid pipe networks -- acts as "fat" pipe: houses 1 tiles worth of liquid per segment, but liquids will flow thru pipe-normally if they can (but much more can accumulate), modular like pipes, only connects to pipes and other segments of itself (but not outputs/inputs), is actual building with "front"space requirement. Meant to replace 1. "unnecessary" pipe sections you would use to keep liquids available inside pipe networks, 2. Rooms built to be liquid storage (and the use of additional pumps and liquid left smeared on the floors of said room-tank). --there could be a gas version too, but gases are less "volume-efficient"

+1 for all ...

... except for Mini steam turbine, just because IMO there are so many other things to consider before thinking about a gadget of very limited use.

If the mini steam turbine would accept saturated steam (not super-heated) and condense it and output water to a pipe, that would be great for processing steam from boiling of polluted water - and perhaps also for steam from geysers.

The "mini" steam turbine would of course not make the geyser steam disappear, just take the initial hot pressure burst and use its energy to make power. Then spew out the "tamed" water..Maybe it could also regulate geysers to a constant output instead of on/off (same average water production) as a side-effect. Also "mini" is kinda misleading and is a placeholder :D

I thought of it as a substitute? for the current steam turbine, because nothing can reliably and renewably generate 250°C steam. Machine heat is not enough (also overheat damage is a thing), and burnables are better off in their respective generators. Magma is real dinky to work with, plus it's also a one-time gig. So currently, the 1 constant-ish steam source is geysers.

Of course any flowing fluid can spin a turbine, so there could be turbines for all geysers. Chlorine ones could actually give steam a run for its money (chlorine is really heavy compared to the other in-game "geyser gases")

We could also have something like a set of boilers added to actually make steam. They could be ran off different fuels (variable heat generation is already implemented in the metal refinery and hydrogen burns REALLY hot ;)). The whole thing could also use pipes. Free-flowing steam tends to lose pressure pretty fast. Boilers would also make distillation easy.

Unrelated: We also need an animal trap that doesn't melt in the oil biome. Made of rocks perhaps.

Smart transformers that detect the max throughput of the low-end wire (normal or conductive) and adjust low-end output (not maxed at 1k).
