[Custom Character] How do I make a character's animations change based on their health.

So basically, I'm trying to make it so that a character looks different when they get low on health, they're all injured and torn up. And I want to make it so that they basically just swap between different animations based on their health dropping below a certain point.

How do I actually go about doing this, kinda don't know where to start and looking it up I didn't really find much on actually swapping the basic animations around or how to tie them to health. Like the actual animations should still be the same, just different artwork by the way.

Wolfgang changes appearance depending on his hunger stat, you can probably just copy this and adapt it to health instead.
