Spawning conditions for Winter's Feast Loot Stash? (Lua-based explanation preferred)

What are the spawning conditions for Klaus' loot stash for Winter's Feast? Can it spawn on any turf in the decidious/ mosaic biome? Are there certain turf where it cannot spawn?

I normally kill Klaus most chances I get but have had the unfortunate event for the stash to spawn in my base. The area were it spawned was an area without turf. His stash is currently away from my base and I want to fight him, but fear his stash will spawn in my base again. Thanks.

Edit: My base is in the decidious biome where the pig king setpiece is.

I believe that when the world originally generates in the mosaic and decidious biomes it chooses in those biomes where the possible spawn points are and then picks one each time its capable of spawning. I don't think removing the turf has an effect on the spawn points.
