SchlauFuchs
Hi, In my colonies I am losing Puffs because they wander off in zones of too high or low temperatures. It takes a while before they die, but a Puff that is in danger should switch into a different pathfinding modus that looks for more ambient temperatures until they are back in their comfort zone. My main problem that they die before I am able to build lures, which is sad. Wolfcream23
not just Puffs actually almost all creatures in ONI has this issue, their AIs doesn't have yet the ability to detect and react to conditions that threatens their well being, which is quite ironic actually, because the drive for 'LIFE' itself is survival and regeneration :v so basically, better creature AI is needed and it would also be nice if the creatures has more 'activities' than just wandering around or producing something, maybe some can act as pets, some highly threatening, some damages your machines or (to nerf the overpowered meal wood) acts as parasites to certain plants. AileTheAlien
Nefing mealwood can be done much more easily by just tweaking the stress, calories, or other things already in the game. However, i would like to see better critter AI, and maybe that fish that's on the main screen! : ) Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/86048-puffs-should-not-die-because-they-get-lost-in-too-hot-or-cold-areas/#findComment-989405 Share on other sites
