I've been playing for 2 weeks and ha vent put the game down putting about 150 hours in already and learning lots of new things in the quest for a symmetrical colony. So the suggestion i have are convenient ones but they would be great to have: Scaffolding that can be set up and boxed in which allows for a quick dismantle after a build is complete. Portable Pumps that can move liquids and gases small distances allowing dupes to condense say 5 pools of polluted water into 1 without having to dig up a central hole. Looking forward to playing more and sharing my base very soon. Define small distances, and why would it be better to build and power a portable pump and piping and vent than just clearing a few blocks? It's mainly for cosmetics because I always end up with random ladders littered about. For a portable pump say you are entering the oil biome for the first time it's a lot less resource hogging to bring some portable gear down and prepare an area by consolidating resources into specific places. Also maybe there's a pocket of gas you don't want to lose but digging into it.
