Can we get a "Save & Exit" button in the menu?

It would be really nice if there were a quicker way to exit the game; something with less confirmations and loading screen time.  It seems kind of silly to hit Save, then "yes I want to overwrite", just to turn around and hit exit and be asked if I'm sure I want to lose any unsaved changes.  On top of that, once I do hit exit, it's a solid minute of "loading..." to get back to the main menu and hit "quit" again.

Maybe it could just ask once "yes i want to overwrite", then hopefully a much shorter trip to the loading screen, then straight to the desktop.

 

PS - I did search to see if someone had requested this feature before.  I was surprised to see that no one had.  The closest I could find was this thread, which I don't think is quite asking for the same thing:

Save and Exit is a fine feature and would satisfy my request just fine. Though if they do that... make it "save and exit to desktop". I want to hit a button and go to bed. (Ok, fine, hit a button and then go change clothes to go to work cause the sun will be up shortly. :P)
