I've used this in my world and I (and @kolyapedal ) make it so that whenever a dupe activates the gens to turn on, the man gen is turned off so barely any time is wasted with one dupe just running to it and using it for a second. Plus when you get to that point your should have a lot of dupes to spare. :)

What I did was just 2 dupes doing the power check, others can't do that and the manual gen is set to prior 8. Yeah, I might have overlooked that, we all have at least 8 dupes or more in that scenario :)

not necessarily - I'm running a "hermit group" with only 5, and what about true hermit challenges? every second counts when you only have limited jobs you can do every cycle ;)

Hermit challenges? Never heard of it... Maybe with just 5, I think I'll only have 1 doing the power check.
