Xmas is approaching -> time for wish lists

Recommended Posts

Dear Santa Klei

for Christmas I would love to have

- sensors that measure the pressure in pipes (e.g. water pipe is empty)

- more fancy lights (red green blue etc.)

- a siren or rotating beacon that draw the players attention to problems (given he set them up together with respective sensors)

- as for liquid bottles similar manual devices to fill or at least deliver and empty gas bottles.

- a pony  ;)

To make the crafting menus less cluttered, I hope that if they add this, they just add some kind of connector for pipes and sensors. So for example, to measure the pressure in a gas pipe, you build a "gas pipe connector" and an atmo sensor on the spot at which you want to measure it. Perhaps they could also add a special type of pipe that will connect itself to sensors that are put on top of it.
Right now it probably wouldn't make much of a difference if they add a gas and liquid pipe connector (2 new buildings) or a temperature and pressure sensors for both pipe types (4 new buildings), but if they add more sensors in the future, for example germ sensors, radiation sensors, material sensors and who knows what, the automation/plumbing/ventilation tabs would get three times more cluttered than needed for every new sensor.

I was also thinking that they could add a building like that that puts all duplicants nearby into red alert mode.

Why adding some kind of connectors that have basically no purpose. Easier would be add option to the existing sensors to check pipes content. It would be switchable between environment / liquid pipe / gas pipe and change graphic a little depending on that option.

What I want on Xmax are good designed tooltips that have all necessary information without the mess like it is right now.
