Arcwell
DISCLAIMER: This strategy is not optimal at all. It is simply meant for a team that: Cannot (or will not) bait shockwaves with Woodie Cannot (or will not) cancel shockwaves Cannot (or will not) use molten dart special correctly to make the Boarrior sleep Cannot (or will not) utilize (or drag to) the corner effectively It's no surprise that the healer gets the short end of the stick on the Boarrior fight. The Boarrior prioritizes targets that are in between melee and max range for his shockwave attacks, which almost always means the healer gets hit when they move in to place a heal on the Boarrior. As if that weren't enough, in phase 3 the Boarrior gets a charge attack and will stop walking into the heal on his own. This means that if the Boarrior uses a charge attack to move out of the heal as it's being placed, he will remain outside the heal for its entire duration, usually spamming shockwaves at your team. Of course, if you're with a good team who can counteract the shockwaves and charges by either baiting them or canceling them, this isn't an issue. But what happens when you're not? The solution I've found is predicting the direction of the Boarrior's charge. If you place one end of the heal on the Boarrior and the center towards the tank who has aggro at the time the heal is placed, the Boarrior will remain in the heal even if he charges towards the tank. As for the shockwaves that could potentially cancel your heal cast, the Boarrior never targets players who are at max range with that attack. If you position yourself behind the tank that has aggro, placing the very tip of the spell circle on the Boarrior will keep you at max range and out of danger of the shockwave. Of course, remember to reposition every time the Boarrior moves even a little. Why it isn't optimal: Tanks will take more damage from the charge than if it had been canceled If the tanks switch aggro when you place the heal, the Boarrior could be lead out of the heal You can't position yourself behind the tank that has aggro if a wall is behind them
