Texture must have a power of two dimensions?

So my new mod's doing something my old one did, and I don't know how to fix it. Last time this happened, I think the issue was that the images (excluding the character sprites) were scaled wrong. The image in the character select screen is lined up incorrectly, and when I went through the log (the mod crashed my game- ugh), I found this:

[00:01:24]: ../mods/workshop-1186446803/bigportraits/pepper_none.tex is 491x708 but compressed textures must have power of 2 dimensions.

How can I fix the problem?
