Advanced utility of seeds

Recommended Posts

I like how the new farming system is sustainable.  You don't have to worry about farming yourself out of seeds.  That said I seem to build up a large quantity of surplus seeds.  In real life seeds can be used for a large variety of purposes.  Most involving some type of grinding or pressing process.  Which leads to our flours and oils.  I could see the addition of the ability to make grind a specific seed into a flour and then make a bread nice.  Or the ability to press another seed into an oil that could be used a large variety of purposes such as medical salves, stress reduction lotion despisers, advanced cooking resource, speed up repair tasks (WD40), or speed up disinfection tasks (Furniture Polish).

-1 from me I hate this new immortal plants mechanic I wish they return the old system back it was more fun to play. WHy?? Because was more in-depth and strategic. You should plan ahead what to plant and where. Now you just plant whenever you feel like it and that's all where is the fun in that? I always considered farming as essential part of the game for example I will make couple of hydro-farms just to get more seeds then I'll use planter-boxes to get the most of my seeds without spending resources but I have to watch not to harvest them in the final harvest so as not to loose the seeds which sometimes I forget to do and then I have to start all over again. On the other hand sometimes when I build up a lot of seeds I plant them in farm tiles and get the most of them including with the final harvest which can also produce another seed but not most of the times.

This was much more fun for me and now it is gone, and what do we have instead mushrooms. pfft big deal. There is no excitement there is no strategy nothing you just plant and forget,  so I give the new system a  big NOOO
