mclark12536
I was playing and got to Cycle 40. My daughter wanted to play and the limited autosaves ended up overwriting my save files. I don't see a way to create a custom save file so that it does not get overwritten.
eloy2030
In the "options" menu there's 2 tabs. One says "save", the other "save as". Use "save as" and ull be prompted to type a name. As long as it is a different name from an existing one it wont overwrite a thing. as more if u need and good luck!
Masterpintsman
Even 'save' will do the trick (but overwrite the past main save of the currently used name) The issue is that all auto-saves are destroyed the moment you switch to another colony (be it by loading it, or by starting a new one), which isn't really that intuitive. Possibly a game option could be added to not delete auto-saves of the old colony when switching? Or at least a requester prior to deleting them, with the option to keep them?
