Is it possible to choose whether or not to use custom fuse? I got the upgrades as there wasn't much else to get, then realized I have no choice but to use them... Or, maybe while in focus mode, M1 uses "short fuse" while M2 uses "custom fuse"? In other words, M1 acts like there is no upgrade, M2 acts like there is... Right now there's no way to modify the list of items you've purchased other than resetting your whole save file.
