Kasuha Posted April 1, 2017 Share Posted April 1, 2017 I think they may not be plants. Perhaps they're fungi. Notice they grow and produce their fruits without light and do so in any gas. And they may start growing at random spots in the wild without need for a seed. So perhaps they spread using spores, and what's called seed in the game is in fact mycelium.
