Coal Generator melting faster than Ice

Recommended Posts

I put ice next to a coal generator that's melting down... I was surprised to see the generator melt faster than ice... I mean... Yeah... Weird...

By the way the temp of the Ice does not go down in a red hot temp environment... probably should have mentioned that first.

I get that Temperature rises faster than it decreases but i think that heat transfer from 150°C CO2 to a small ball of ice should be faster than .0000001°C/sec (exaggeration but may as well be true)

The picture was taken 15 mins after i placed the ice btw

Latest update has coal generators taking a lot longer to overheat, so that should help.  I had a room packed with ice and my coal generator still overheated.
