Air tight storage compactors - You can put slime and contaminated soil into this and it prevents the emission of contaminated oxygen.

Glass Tiles - A tile that is light permeable but not permeable to gasses or liquids.

Sideways lights - the ability to hit "O" to make the lightbulbs be orientated horizontally rather than vertically.  Alternately, more lighting options.

A new decor research - Fancier ladders + a 1x1 decor tile that I can fill in those odd one out tiles in the background of some rooms with.

ANOTHER new decor research - paint to nullify the negative decor on mesh, gas and insulation tiles.

Tetherball (or another game, perhaps table tennis?) - Lets two of your Dupes blow off steam together.

Geothermal energy generator - Converts ambient heat into energy, but has to be stored in a battery.

Protective Suits - Maybe one for extreme cold and extreme heat, but wearing them raises stress.

Hydroponic Garden - Grow your crops 2x as fast, uses water.

Fan - Blows gases in a direction.

Brewery - Makes booze, lowers stress levels, but Dupes might become inebriated.

Luxury Bed - Reduces stress levels (more than cots, less than massage tables), Dupes need 10% less sleep.

Chandelier - Lighting AND decoration

Wallpaper - gives the background a nice look (that doesn't look like the empty void of space) and some types add decoration.

That's all I've got at the moment.

Stirling generator - makes energy out of heat from pumped in gas/liquid. Gets an output for the same but cooler, gets efficiency like input temperatue/(input temperature/ambinet temperature). Would do for geothermal. Or maybe being cooled by input and heated by ambient... Or even both ways!

As the place seems to be irradiated (how else would fotosynthesis with no light work out? Mus be gamma/roentgen rays), we could welcome a big, expensive but perpetual radiation-powered energy generator.

Plastics - you get a chemical lab, consuming water, electricity, chlorine and coal to produce hazmat suits or filters (very efficient filtration medium).

i like these ideas:

  • Geothermal energy generator  (but if it would be with high temperatures not just with some 40C)

Vincie, yea we need to put thous gases somewhere.

pressure/gas sensor - can be set to some pressure and if it goes higher/lower then it affects electricity line like switch turned on/off or even better with special sensor line that can turn on/off devices. Maybe it should be able to detect what gases are around that sensor. It can be used to get pressure what you want.

water sensor - can be used to not overfill water reservoirs or simple warn when it is overfilled or is running out of water (not a best idea :D)

more creatures - they can be friendly or hostile, just need more of them.

Water bridge and gas bride should be able to built in walls. Maybe electricity wires that are at same place but don't touch each other, then it would be more use for switches and dupes shouldn't run to every device.

Generate electricity with propane, helium and engines that can work with propane not with electricity (pump or some king of heat generator). Simple need more uses for gases.

I don't know how well you're going to research new creatures into existence, but yeah, sure, that'd be neat.

ok its not a technology, but all can be done if you can print people from nothing and game just need more creatures :D

Bio recyclers: Instead of burying duplicates, you recycle them for their biomatter. Also works on the indigenous life, seeds, and organic materials.

Smart Beds: Advanced beds that teach a selected skill while occupant is sleeping. Increases stress (Maybe small chance of gaining a derangement). (see Venture Brothers [Adult Swim] for reference)

Relay station: allows outside communication and to receive entertainment broadcasts.

Robotics center: allows the creation of robotic companions ranging from sweeping bots to kill bots (who have been known to get twitchy).

Bio tube: Grows protein structures in the most delicious of shapes, a tube!

Matter collider: Smash particles to create heavier elements.

Elevator: Faster vertical and horizontal travel. (Turbo Lift another possible name, credit to Star Trek: Deep Space 9)
 

Water synthesizer: Draws water from air piped into it. (We really need a way to generate water beyond processing slime, to enable long term colonies)

Resource Teleporter: Place requested material onto the pad so they can be transported to the awaiting mining consortium ship. Upon completing the contract, requested materials (or whatever reward was offered by the contract) are transported to the colony.

Personnel Teleporter: Allows for immediate transport to a selected Transport pad. Regular maintenance is key to maintain the safety threshold of only a 2% of "transport accident", which at best only causes minor neurological/ethical scrambling to at worst requires a mop.

Thermal Regulator: Using Abyssalite to either create a 1x1 object the produces cool air (akin to the air purifier). Or a gas/liquid pipe section the changes the temperature of the gas/liquid. 

I'm sure i'll think of more...
