ASirrelle
Hey, can you make the 'r' key a toggle? I often hit it by accident, because i'm a goof, and open up the research panel. It would be super handy if hitting it again would close it, rather than having to mouse move over the x.

Oatmeal
I think it is just something they missed. This works for some of the menus, but not all of them. Press the key they are assigned to (If you maybe changed it), then press that same button again. Sometimes the menu closes with the same key, and sometimes it doesn't. For instance. The research menu doesn't close back up when you press that same button twice. PS: If Research DOES toggle the menu, then it may only affect keys that have had their bindings changed since the Research tab doesn't close on the second press, for me. They should make the 'r' key a toggle, but in the meantime you can right-click to close the menu quickly. Also 'Esc'.

I would also like this to be implemented, I often want to have a quick look at how far i've gotten with my research and what i'm missing for a certain tech.
