Sloose
let me start by saying this game is fun as heck. I can easily see this as an awesome time sink when i need to make my brain relax from life, just as Dont Starve is/was/will be.... The game, of course, is in alpha, so i'm NOT complaining / being an internet social justice warrior / flame thrower. 1) The game needs some big time balancing. Algae and water are in short supply so there's no economy of scale. Your colony fares much better if you keep it at 4 people. after that you just have most of your population running around to keep the systems running and the other people are running around mopping up puke and fixing the crap they broke during a lash out. When this happens there's no spare people to dig for new resources, precious as they are. 2) Bleach stone is FAR too rare, and it is FAR too useful in keeping stress down. In my best games so far I've only been able to keep ONE hand sanitizer in working condition, and even then, the resource doesn't last long. 3) Dupes seem to PREFER the outhouse over the modern (and one would think) more sanitary lavatory. 4) Some sort of plumbed hand washing station would be nice to reduce (or in my case, eliminate) the need for the all too rare bleach stone. 5) Gravity feeding of plumbing would be nice - the ability to transfer water from one cavern to another with just gravity would be cool - no reason to run 500 meters of wire next to 500 meters of pipe to transfer water to your plumbing systems. 6) Hydrogen generators just aren't worth the resources and time it takes to build them. By the time you get one going, the supply of hydro is just GONE. 7) The compactors don't really seem to serve a purpose - in fact, their negative impact on the decor is probably detrimental to its use. The dupes don't seem to give a hoot that the floors are cluttered with piles of dirt/coal/etc... Forcing them to sweep up doesn't do much except make it more visually appealing to ME. 8) The dupes seem to prefer (much to my annoyance) to eat the unprocessed meal lice, rather than the more efficient lice loaf that i devoted dupe time cycles to creat. 9) and my ******BIGGEST BIGGEST PET PEEVE******: The assignments for the massage tables seem to CONSTANTLY reset. I have to micromanage the tables to make sure the assignment is set else my stress goes berzerk and once its out of control, I just can't seem to recover the colony from the endless vomit / mop & lash out / repair cycle. I'm sure theres more to add. I love this game. Great idea.

My games go fine and peaceful and just when you think you might have a happy camp, the lashing out and puking starts. I think it's a fail-safe against having things settle down into any kind of sustainability this early in the development process.
highflyermc
Funnily enough, I've seen some people who cause puking intentionally as a source of resources which is more sustainable than the others.
Zezarict
All these things are the common thoughts in this forum. As you said, it's in alpha, and this will be addressed in future updates. Oh, you're you're not a social justice warrior xD
