Spider2430
the base almost worked, I had the CO2 being pumped out, but apparently I shouldnt of had it pumping in that small space. however my base still filled up with CO2 in certain areas, but im going to continue finding ways to make this base work out for a awhile, I feel like im about to have to start over
Whiskydog
Yeah when I do everything enclosed like that it usually just fills up of CO2. Also the algae is better below, since the CO2 tends to go down the oxygen since it's heavier.

kambing
You need at least 2 Algae Deoxidizers or 19 fully-lit algae terrariums to generate enough oxygen for 8 dupes.

Normally if you make a co2 pit, and make sure that below it the oxygen is something like 1500g/tile, it will force the co2 to stay down and compressed. also, if find deoxydizers to be decently useful in corners. It makes sure co2 doesn't accumulate in said corner. Also, once you have your pit done, try putting an air scrubber in here. It does tremendeous work.
